One of the four large fishing boats-presumed to be Japanese-now of our North-West coast. The first picture to reach Perth, it shows the ship at anchor about 45 miles west-north-west of North-West Cape. The ships were first sighted last Saturday by passengers and crew a boat the Charon. A Department of Navy representative conferred with the ship's master on its arrival a Fremantle and the same day a Nepture from Pearce flew up the coast and sighted the ships. March 11, 1954.
